These are the maximum hailable-vehicle rates published under City of Dallas ordinance. Your driver will tell you the applicable rate before the trip begins, and you'll get a legible receipt at payment — paper or electronic, your call.
Four numbers do the work of any metered trip — drop, distance, time, and extras. No surge multipliers, no peak pricing, no fine print.
Skip the meter math on the most common runs. Flat rates run either direction and include everything in the schedule — except the extra-passenger fee.
Pick a common run and your party size — we'll add the current gas surcharge and extra-passenger fees so you know what you'll see on the receipt.
Indexed to the Texas average for regular grade gasoline, per US DOE / EIA data. Steps up $0.50 for every $0.50 increase over the $2.00 baseline.
The fine print, in plain words. Definitions used throughout this rate schedule.
Bounded by Woodall Rodgers Fwy (N), Central Expwy (E), R. L. Thornton Fwy (S), and Stemmons Fwy (W) — plus all points within 1,000 ft of those boundaries.
Bounded by Medical District Dr (NW), Harry Hines Blvd (NE), Oak Lawn Ave (SE), and Irving Blvd (SW), plus all points within 1,000 ft.
Total passengers in the vehicle, less one. Charged regardless of whether the riders share a destination.
Meter-determined time while the vehicle is stopped, or moves slower than 11.5 mph due to traffic.
Charged only when the passenger asks the vehicle to wait and be held exclusively for their party.
Passengers traveling between the same points are treated as one trip. Only the extra-passenger charge applies.
Meter resets at each stop, unless one party engages the vehicle and pays the entire fare.
Reimbursed only when the driver gave advance notice of the toll route and the passenger did not object.
Flat-rate fares are all-inclusive of charges in this schedule — except the extra-passenger fee.
By ordinance, every trip ends with a legible itemized receipt — what you paid, why, and who drove you. Print or electronic. Eight things, every time.
Posted rates. Real chauffeurs. Texas hospitality, every mile.
